Royal Mail Free U.K Postage
We use a free ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery service within the UK. This is a secure postal service and provides next day delivery and will require a signature upon receipt.
This is a fully trackable service.
The order will be dispatched using 1st class Royal Mail Special delivery.
As mentioned above, the parcel will need a signature to confirm receipt. If no one is home, Royal Mail will leave an Attempted Delivery Card so you can arrange either a redelivery or collect from your nearest post office collection point.
Although we offer a FREE DELIVERY service for purchases in the UK, please note that next day delivery is from the date of dispatch, NOT the date the order is received as the jewellery will need to be made to fulfil your order.
The jewellery will need time to be made (usually 7 to 10 working days) to meet the order.
You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been finished and dispatched.
Postage – International
All items are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service.
The INTERNATIONAL postage cost is £15.00 per order.
Please note if your order is being sent to a country outside of the EU you will be liable for any customs and/or import duties imposed by your country. Also, note – parcels sent to countries are at the discretion of Carol Clift Design and may not be included in our list. It is advisable to email first to check which countries are listed.

Delivery is from the date of dispatch NOT the date the order is placed.
Lost and Late deliveries
If your delivery has been delayed, then please contact us and we will provide you with the tracking number to enable you to locate it with Royal Mail.
We cannot refund or replace lost items until it has been agreed to have been declared lost by the postal service (28 working days after the date of despatch or 35 days for international items) – Royal Mail will then class the parcel as being lost.
International delivery – When items are sent to another country, your parcel is often handled by more than one postal service. When we send a parcel abroad, the actual delivery of the item will be the responsibility of the postal service in the country the items are going to. Delays can often be caused by customs checks, which can sometimes take up to 1-2 weeks.
Items not received but tracked as being delivered –
At times, you may request parcels to be delivered to a place of work. Sometimes, your item might have been delivered to a post room or colleague within the company and someone else will have signed for it. You can check the signature of the person that has signed for the parcel, by entering your tracking number on the Royal Mail website.
Please note that we DO NOT refund or replace items that are tracked as being delivered. For this reason, we recommend that your jewellery is delivered to your home address.
Carol Clift design cannot be held responsible for goods that are delayed or lost in transit.
Exchanges
Unfortunately, we do not exchange products. However, you can return a faulty item to us and we will post out a new one via Royal Mail special delivery, but will unfortunately need to charge you for postage at a cost of £6
If you are unhappy with your item for any other reason please phone Carol on either 01832 275296 or 07745 988728 to discuss the problem, issues will be resolved on an individual basis.
Return of online purchases
All our products go through a very strict quality control process. In the unlikely event of a fault, you may return damaged goods, unworn and in their original condition, within 14 days from the date of despatch, we will exchange them, the replacement item will carry a £6 charge for Royal Mail delivery on the postage for your replacement item.
Please note that due to health and hygiene reasons we do not accept returns of earrings.
To request a return, please email enquiries@carolcliftjewellery.co.uk quoting your order number, name, address, telephone number, details of the product, reason for the return and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then issue a Return Authorisation Note.
The item must be returned in its original box or packaging. The authorisation note and the original delivery note must be included in the package with the returned item. Please ensure that the parcel is sealed securely and posted via Royal Mail Special delivery service. We will not refund any postage costs.
Exempt from a refund are Bespoke commissions, made to order items or jewellery altered to a customer request.

Goods must be returned within 14 days from the date of despatch. We cannot accept responsibility for returned goods that are lost during transit. Any returned goods are sent at the risk of the sender.
It must be stated clearly on a note within the parcel (also containing the item/s) the reason for the return plus information regarding your full contact details, full name, postal address, phone number and email address.

Return the item to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is a secure and trackable service.
Carol Clift Design does not accept any responsibility for return postage costs, nor for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. Sole responsibilities are those of the customer.
Refunds will be made to the credit or debit card that was used to the place the order via PAYPAL. Refunds or replacements will be made within 28 days of receipt of the goods by Carol Clift Design. If you request a replacement you will be charged return postage. Please note that Carol Clift Design cannot refund postage and packaging charges, nor will we refund sales tax or duties payable on orders made outside the EU.

Please note that once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel it. Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to contact us to cancel your order, then a further 14 days to return the item to us. In this circumstance, please follow the above return instructions.
